About Envision Painting
We run a reputable painting company that helps property and business owners paint the interior and exterior of their houses and buildings in greater Victoria. We believe in creating long term partnerships with our clients, suppliers and employees. We are continually striving to improve and innovate to find better and more efficient ways to operate.
For example, our estimating system creates opportunities for accuracy and efficiency, which then helps to leave more time to connect with potential clients and translates into more work sold by one estimator.
Envision Painting is now eight years old and in a growth phase. We have an awesome team on the production side of the business and we are now looking to build that up on the sales side. We continually aim to be a leading painting contractor in our area by producing high-quality work with a client focused approach. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a hard working and top performing sales leader who understands the ins and outs of estimating and acquiring beneficial painting contracts. In this role, you will be:
- Working closely with the owners and management team to hit sales targets.
- Utilizing our proprietary systems and various resource tools provided to quote and sell projects.
- Facilitating meetings with potential clients to sign painting contracts.
- Providing feedback on business strategies and implementation items where applicable.
- Designing roadmaps to hit your strategic objectives for the year.
- Generating multiple options to solve clients painting problems.
- Following up with clients continually to ensure open communication.
- Tracking and reporting key success deliverables.
- Challenging yourself on seeking a deeper understanding of new things that will lead to your continual improvement.
- Acting as a resource for the company when your skillset is beneficial to a situation.
- Supporting and working with the sales and marketing team, by giving insights and feedback.
- Collaborating with the team to develop best practices and contribute to the collective success of the business.
Experience required:
- Previous sales experience in any company where you sold mid to high ticket items face to face.
- Experience leading a high performing team.
- Experience in implementing franchise-like systems and/or robust business processes.
- Overall business experience and understanding of multiple skill sets including production, recruitment and administration.
- Experience selling in various settings including one on one, to groups of people, in person and virtually.
- A strong business acumen.
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, confidentiality and good judgment.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication, including strong public speaking experience.
- Passion for continued improvement and sharing best practices.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
